Description
Soft, pillowy gnocchi coated in a luscious, garlicky Parmesan sauce—comfort food at its finest.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb potato gnocchi (homemade or store-bought)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions or until they float to the surface if homemade. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
For the best results, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese and fresh garlic. Store-bought gnocchi works well for convenience, but homemade gnocchi elevates the dish.
