- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons baking soda
- 4 tablespoons salted butter
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- Sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and warm water to form a dough. Knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Divide the dough into small pieces and shape into bites.
- Boil water and baking soda in a pot. Drop the dough bites into the boiling water for 30 seconds.
- Place the boiled bites on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Brush the baked pretzel bites with garlic butter and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter or sprinkle shredded Parmesan on top before serving.
