Ingredients
- Vanilla sponge cake or angel food cake, cut into cubes
- Fresh strawberries, sliced thinly

Instructions
- Prepare the cake: Bake or use store-bought sponge cake. Let it cool completely and cut into small cubes.
- Wash and slice the berries: Rinse strawberries and blueberries under cold water, pat dry, and slice strawberries thinly.
- Whip the cream: In a large mixing bowl, whip heavy cream with optional sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Layer the jars: Start with a layer of cake cubes at the bottom of each jar. Add a layer of whipped cream, followed by strawberries. Repeat the layers, alternating with blueberries for the second fruit layer. Continue until the jar is filled, ending with whipped cream on top.
- Garnish: Add a few whole berries on top for decoration, and sprinkle with crumbled cake or a drizzle of honey if desired.
Notes
Chill your cream and mixing bowl before whipping for better results. Assemble jars without the whipped cream topping if prepping ahead, and add it just before serving.
