Description
A decadent dessert that combines the gooey richness of hot fudge with the dense, fudgy texture of brownies. Perfect for chocolate lovers and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup (50g) brown sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (50g) cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup (120ml) hot fudge sauce
- 1/4 cup (45g) chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream softened butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing just until combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Fold in hot fudge sauce gently with a spatula. Optionally, toss in chocolate chips for extra sweetness.
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes. Check with a toothpick—it should come out with moist crumbs.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
Ensure butter and eggs are at room temperature for a smooth batter. Avoid overmixing to prevent a tough texture. Let the bread cool completely for easier slicing.
