Description
These jalapeño popper rolls combine the creamy, cheesy, and spicy flavors of classic jalapeño poppers in a soft, golden roll. Perfect for parties, game nights, or a cozy snack.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 fresh jalapeños, diced
- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (120 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 tbsp (30 g) butter, melted
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, diced jalapeños, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Place them on a flat surface.
- Add about 1-2 tablespoons of the filling to the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough tightly from the wide end to the point, sealing the filling inside.
- Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
- Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
- Let the rolls cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For less spice, remove the seeds and membranes from the jalapeños. To prevent over-browning, cover the rolls loosely with foil during the last few minutes of baking.
