Description

These jalapeño popper rolls combine the creamy, cheesy, and spicy flavors of classic jalapeño poppers in a soft, golden roll. Perfect for parties, game nights, or a cozy snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 fresh jalapeños, diced
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (120 g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tbsp (30 g) butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, diced jalapeños, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Place them on a flat surface.
  4. Add about 1-2 tablespoons of the filling to the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough tightly from the wide end to the point, sealing the filling inside.
  5. Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  6. Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let the rolls cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For less spice, remove the seeds and membranes from the jalapeños. To prevent over-browning, cover the rolls loosely with foil during the last few minutes of baking.
