- 2 ounces bourbon
- 1 ounce pure maple syrup
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Freshly grated nutmeg
- Ice
Instructions
- Measure out 2 ounces of bourbon, 1 ounce of pure maple syrup, 1 cup (240 ml) of whole milk, and 1/4 cup (60 ml) of heavy cream. Have your vanilla extract and nutmeg handy.
- Add the bourbon, maple syrup, milk, heavy cream, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract to your cocktail shaker. Fill halfway with ice.
- Shake vigorously for about 20-30 seconds until well-blended and chilled.
- Strain the mixture into your glass. Use a fine mesh strainer to remove any ice shards if desired.
- Garnish with a light dusting of freshly grated nutmeg on top. Optionally, add a cinnamon stick or a twist of orange peel.
