Description
Layers of juicy strawberries, creamy Greek yogurt, and crunchy granola combine to create a vibrant and refreshing breakfast that’s healthy, delicious, and picture-perfect.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced (or thawed frozen strawberries)
- 2 cups granola (gluten-free if needed)
- 2 cups Greek yogurt (or dairy-free alternatives like almond or coconut yogurt)
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Optional add-ins: chia seeds, nuts, shredded coconut
Instructions
- Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice them into thin pieces. If using frozen strawberries, let them thaw for about 10 minutes.
- Optional: In a small bowl, mix the Greek yogurt with honey or maple syrup to taste. Stir until smooth.
- Begin by adding a small handful of granola to the bottom of your glass or jar. Follow with a layer of yogurt, then a layer of strawberries.
- Continue layering granola, yogurt, and strawberries until the glass is full. Aim for at least two layers for visual appeal.
- Finish with a final sprinkle of granola, a few strawberry slices, and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours, adding granola just before serving to maintain crunch.
Notes
For extra crunch, reserve some granola to sprinkle on top just before serving. If your parfait looks too runny, refrigerate for 10 minutes to firm up. Use a small spoon for clean layering, and adjust sweetness by adding honey or maple syrup to taste.
