Description

A creamy and dreamy whipped matcha latte that combines the earthy flavor of matcha with a velvety whipped topping. Perfect as a dessert drink or a calming treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons (5 grams) matcha powder
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons (30 grams) sugar
  • 1 cup (240 ml) milk (whole milk, almond milk, or oat milk)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Sift the matcha powder into a bowl to remove clumps.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cold heavy cream and sugar. Whip with a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.
  3. Sprinkle the sifted matcha into the whipped cream and gently fold until fully incorporated. Adjust sweetness if needed.
  4. Heat or chill the milk depending on your preference. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the milk into a glass or mug, leaving room for the whipped matcha cream. Spoon the whipped matcha topping over the milk.
  6. Garnish with a light dusting of matcha powder or a drizzle of honey. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Use cold cream for faster whipping. Sift the matcha powder to avoid clumps. Serve immediately after assembling for the best texture.
