- 1 cup (240 ml) cold heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons (30 grams) sugar
- 1 cup (240 ml) milk (whole milk, almond milk, or oat milk)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
Instructions
- Sift the matcha powder into a bowl to remove clumps.
- In a medium bowl, combine cold heavy cream and sugar. Whip with a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.
- Sprinkle the sifted matcha into the whipped cream and gently fold until fully incorporated. Adjust sweetness if needed.
- Heat or chill the milk depending on your preference. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the milk into a glass or mug, leaving room for the whipped matcha cream. Spoon the whipped matcha topping over the milk.
- Garnish with a light dusting of matcha powder or a drizzle of honey. Serve immediately and enjoy!
