  • Author: David
  • Total Time: 28 minutes
  • Yield: 20-25 treats 1x

Description

These homemade dog treats are simple, wholesome, and packed with flavors dogs adore. Perfect for spoiling your furry friend with healthy, additive-free goodies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/4 cup unsalted peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • Optional: A pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe banana until smooth.
  3. Stir in the peanut butter and egg until fully combined.
  4. Gradually add the flour, stirring as you go, until the dough is firm and slightly sticky but easy to handle.
  5. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough to about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Use cookie cutters to create fun shapes or simply cut the dough into squares or circles.
  7. Place the treats on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let the treats cool completely on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

If the dough feels too sticky, sprinkle a little extra flour on your work surface. Store treats in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months.
