Creamy Deviled Eggs Recipe Perfect for Any Party

  • Author: David
  • Total Time: 22 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Description

This Creamy Classic Deviled Eggs Recipe is easy to whip up, endlessly customizable, and downright delicious. Perfect for parties or as a timeless snack, these deviled eggs are a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon pickle relish
  • Optional: Chopped fresh herbs (chives, dill, or parsley)
  • Optional: Hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Place the eggs in a medium saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  2. Transfer the boiled eggs to an ice water bath and let them cool for 5-10 minutes. Once cooled, gently peel the eggs under running water to remove the shells.
  3. Slice each egg in half lengthwise using a sharp knife. Carefully scoop out the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Set the whites aside on a plate or platter.
  4. Mash the yolks with a fork or whisk until smooth. Add mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy, adjusting seasoning as needed.
  5. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites. If using a piping bag, cut a small opening and pipe the filling neatly.
  6. Sprinkle paprika over the tops for color and flavor. Add optional toppings like chopped herbs or a dash of hot sauce if desired.
  7. Arrange the deviled eggs on a serving platter and enjoy immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

[‘Use older eggs for easier peeling.’, ‘Cool eggs in an ice bath to stop the cooking process and make peeling easier.’, ‘Blend the filling well for the creamiest texture.’, ‘Taste the filling as you go and adjust seasoning to your preference.’, ‘Prepare ahead and refrigerate the filling separately. Assemble the eggs right before serving for the freshest flavor.’]
